VARD Engineering Gdańsk sp. z o.o. is a subsidiary and part of the VARD Group AS with headquarters in Alesund Norway.

VARD majority owner is Fincantieri.

The company and group is an international supplier of various kinds of vessels, and sophisticated marine, offshore and subsea equipment.

We provide our services to clients both inside VARD Group and externally.

Scope of our typical activities covers basic design, class documentation, detailed engineering, but also R&D, project management, project engineering and coordination, technical purchasing support, site supervision and other.

We are building our strength with local unique competence rooted in maritime history of Gdańsk area, as well as strong ship design, shipbuilding and maritime environment.

Currently we are working with different projects from LNG sector including LNG transport, bunkering, storage and regasification, but also fish farming, catching and transportation sector as well as growing passenger and expedition vessels market.
