Tasks:

• implementation, development and maintenance of applications and IT systems supporting the library's information activities
• providing IT technical support for employees and users of the Gdańsk Tech Library
• maintenance of the integrated library system (online catalog) - supporting the recording, cataloging and sharing of library collections
• maintenance of the integrated library system used by libraries that are part of the Tricity Union of Libraries
• maintenance of the Pomeranian Digital Library system
• digitization of library collections for the benefit of the Universities and the construction and development of the Pomeranian Digital Library
• maintenance of the Information Security Management System in accordance with ISO 27001 in the Scientific and Technical Information Section
• records and maintenance of IT hardware infrastructure used in the Gdańsk Tech Library
• making available, formal and substantive processing as well as care for old prints, manuscripts and historic collections
• service of the Historical Collections Reading Room
