Wiley is a publishing company which specializes in academic publishing. Wiley Online Library is a subscription-based library containing online resources covering life, health, physical sciences, social science and the humanities.
The 2024 Wiley national license includes 491 journals selected from the full Wiley collection, with vintages dating back to 1997, available on the publisher's Wiley Online Library. Until 2021, the Wiley license provided access to the Full Collection (1383 titles). However, starting in 2022, the license was limited to 491 selected journals. This selection comprised 469 journals with the highest number of downloads under the national license in 2021, along with 22 additional journals due to reduced package funding that included titles from the first group (see the 2022 catalogue).
The list has been updated in subsequent years. In 2023, 37 discontinued journals—either transferred to other publishers or converted to open access—were removed and replaced with new titles. In 2024, an additional 7 journals were updated.
The Wiley national license also includes 2,450 e-books published between 2009 and 2015,see the catalogue of books, which were purchased in 2016.
