How to create a library account
Each 1st year 2st cycle student has an automatically created library account. In order to use the Library's resources, you must activate your account by clicking the Account activation / Forgot your password? Click HERE.
In the activation process, you will need:
- library card number - 5200XXXXXX (XXXXXX is the number of the album/index/ID card)
- e-mail - sXXXXXX@student.pg.edu.pl or another one provided in the recruitment system
The reader's account is active throughout the entire period of first-cycle studies. In the case of continuing studies at the second cycle and in the case of PhD students of Gdańsk Tech, the account must be reactivated. To do this, send an e-mail with a request to reactivate the account to the following address: email@example.com.
Other readers from outside Gdańsk Tech/external users use the online registration option in order to use the Library's resources. In order to activate the account, you should come in person or contact the Gdańsk Tech Library Lending Room by phone or e-mail. A user from outside Gdańsk Tech may use the online resources and standards only in the Gdańsk Tech network (branches, reading rooms of Gdańsk Tech Libraries) after creating an online account. A user account from outside Gdańsk Tech is valid for 30 days (with the possibility of reactivating it for another 30 days).
To borrow books, please complete the online form - the external user must pay a returnable deposit of PLN 100 per 1 book (the limit of borrowing for this type of user is 2 books). As for reference collections in the reading rooms of the Gdańsk Tech Library, users from outside of Gdańsk Tech can use them on site without restrictions.
The library card in the case of Gdańsk Tech students is the "Electronic Student ID" (ELS). In the case of users listed in points 2 and 3, a "User Card" is issued at the Gdańsk Tech Library Lending Room, at the user's request after activating the account.
