The Molybdenum Startup School Program is a part of the IDUB project tasks’ implementation concerning increasing knowledge and technology transfer under Action V.5. Measures to increase the efficiency of technology transfer. The aim of the Program is to build a sustainable, systemic mechanism for initiating and supporting academic entrepreneurship, particularly based on the results of research conducted at Gdańsk Tech, through the following activities:

  • promoting knowledge in the field of academic entrepreneurship,
  • organizing workshops for proposing ideas with business potential,
  • conducting matchmaking and entrepreneurial team building classes,
  • scientific and technological support and mentoring for teams participating in the Program,
  • providing grants to the best teams planning to create startup or spin-off companies.

The Molybdenum Startup School Program is the focus of a project called Gdansk Tech Startup School, or GTS2 for short.
The GTS2project includes 2 startup programs:

  • pre-incubation Startup School One program, in short  SS1
  • the incubation grant program Startup School Two, in short  SS2

Startup School One program 

  • Upcoming call: february 2024
  • The competition documentation is made available through the SS1 program competition documentation form 
  • Maximum of 12 teams and maximum of 30 people participate in the program

Startup School Two program 
- Upcoming call: December 2023 (exact dates will be announced soon)
- competition documentation is made available through the SS2 program competition documentation form
- 3-6 teams selected through the competition are expected to participate
