Digital transformation is a part of our everyday experience in every aspect of our lives – from communication and entertainment through work and education to complicated business processes. Are we ready for this revolution? How is it going to influence us? What opportunities and threats does it bring? How can we fully explore its educational, academic and business potential?
Experts participating in the Competitive Education Conference "University-Idea: Digital Transformation" are going to try to find answers to these questions. The event combines lectures, power speeches, Oxford-style debates and mentor lounges. The audience, consisting of people representing science, business, administration, NGOs and media will be invited to participate in the discussion.
It is a tradition that during the conference the graduates of the Gdańsk University of Technology MBA program receive their diplomas. This year the ceremony will be attended by the directors of different MBA programs from the entire country.
Competitive Education Conference "University-Idea: Digital Transformation" will take place on the 17th and 18th of April in Hotel Sopot and at Gdańsk University of Technology. The event is organized under the auspices of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and of Prof. Jacek Namieśnik, the rector of Gdańsk University of Technology. The Open Eyes Economy Summit initiative is a partner of the event.
The conference is a part of a series of events called "Competitive Education", which explore the intellectual and managerial potential of both academic and business environments in order to create innovative ideas and solutions serving the development of education.
