International Christmas Tree (Wednesday, December 11th)

It’s a tradition that every year GUT International Relations Office invites international students to a Christmas party to celebrate this very special time in the year. By tasting traditional cuisine – delicious dumplings and a beet soup, decorating gingerbread cookies and singing Christmas carols we want to give a little bit of Polish Christmas traditions to our students.

International Christmas Tree is also a day when we give the floor to our students and encourage them to share with us their artistic talents. This year students from Belarus and China will sing for us some Christmas songs in English, Russian, Chinese and even French! It will be a very international concert and we hope you’ll will join us!

This year International Christmas Tree will be also graced by The Academic Choir of Gdańsk University of Technology. We’ll hear some traditional Christmas carols from all over the world.

Christmas party wouldn’t be the same without Santa Claus. He always brings some nice gifts to our students and for sure he’ll visit us this year too.

And dear students – don’t forget to wear funny Christmas jumpers and reindeer’s red noses - the best Christmas fancy dress will be awarded with a basket of sweets!

International Christmas Tree is supported by Erasmus Student Network Gdańsk (ESN Gdańsk).
