ENHANCE Student Initiative Fund: Turn Your Ideas into Impact

logo
The ENHANCE Student Initiative Fund supports student-led projects, events and campaigns that strengthen campus communities and bring European ideas closer to students. Bachelor’s and Master’s students at ENHANCE universities can apply for funding of €500 to €1,000 to bring their ideas to life. Applications are open until 15 November 2026.

Shape your campus. Reflect your Europe.

Do you have an idea for a project, event or campaign that brings students together and reflects what Europe means to you? The ENHANCE Student Initiative Fund was created by students, for students, to support student-led initiatives across the ENHANCE Alliance.

Selected initiatives can receive funding of between €500 and €1,000. The fund aims to help students turn their ideas into projects that improve campus life, develop project skills and strengthen connections across the ENHANCE community.

What kind of projects can be funded?

Projects can take different forms, including:

  • workshops or networking events,
  • student showcases and exhibitions,
  • promotional campaigns, including videos and podcasts,
  • roundtables and expert discussions,
  • case studies,
  • hackathons and other student-led short learning formats.

Projects should contribute to one or more of the ENHANCE thematic priorities: developing students’ skills and knowledge, community building, promoting a European sense of belonging, or internationalisation and intercultural exchange.

Research-related activities are not eligible for funding.

Who can apply?

Projects may be submitted by an individual student or by a team. The main applicant must be enrolled in a first- or second-cycle degree programme at an ENHANCE university at the time of application and remain enrolled until at least 31 August 2027.

There is no minimum or maximum number of team members. Cross-university teams are encouraged but are not obligatory. Staff members may participate as speakers or trainers, but the core project team should consist of students.
