Sustainable Development

Gdańsk University of Technology supports implementation the Sustainable Development Goals set out in the resolution adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) on 25 September 2015. There are 17 of them in total.

One of the most important values cultivated by Gdańsk University of Technology is care for the conditions and quality of life of the present and future generations. The university actively participates in the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the European Green Deal of the European Commission. It is also a signatory of the Universities’ Declaration of Social Responsibility and an active subject of activities aimed at shaping social attitudes conducive to the implementation of the declaration's postulates.

We wish to serve society and our planet in the best possible way, in particular by contributing to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
