We introduce a new, low-threshold training format that can be attended even during a lunch break. Each session takes only 60 minutes. By organizing Anti-Bias Lunch Breaks, we aim to raise awareness of unconscious bias within our ENHANCE network.
We all have biases – it's a natural part of being human. There’s nothing wrong with that. However, unconscious bias affects everyone. It is important to become aware of our own biases and learn how to manage them. If left unchecked, they can sometimes lead to discrimination and inequality.
This short training will provide you with practical tools to better understand and address these issues. We offer several dates – you can choose the one that suits you best.
Training content (60 minutes):
The training focuses on the following topics, combined with practical exercises:
- Implicit bias
- Microaggressions
- Intersectionality
- A 3-step approach to addressing all of the above
Participants will receive practical examples and exercises. The session is facilitated by the ENHANCE Ombudsperson, who guides self-reflection and group discussion.
Invitation
ENHANCE warmly invites all members of the alliance to join. Sessions are held on Zoom (a link will be provided before the event).
Upon request, participants may receive a ENHANCE Certificate of Participation.
