How to order coffee in Dutch? What is life like in a typical Dutch city? Delft Dutch Course for Beginners will help you take your first steps in learning Dutch and make it easier to get around the Netherlands.
You will learn the language by following the daily life of Maria – a student from Argentina who lives in Delft.
Enroll in this six-week self-study course, which includes many active exercises, speaking and writing tasks, and interactive videos explaining basic language structures! Completing the material will take you 8–10 hours per week. Basic knowledge of English is required. The course is free – no fees are charged. You must accept the standard payment terms in the registration form. Staff can enter "Mooc" in the required Baancode field.
The course was developed by teachers from Delft University of Technology (TU) and is based on the principles of the Delft method – an effective language learning method used for many years.
You will learn the most frequently used words, everyday phrases, and basics of Dutch grammar and pronunciation. Gain confidence speaking Dutch in everyday situations!
Expected learning outcomes:
Delft Dutch Course for Beginners is a short introduction to the Dutch language.
During the course, you will learn about 300 words and acquire basic language skills.
