The applications of my research are mainly within the energy and transportation sectors. I have published more than 200 papers on international journals and conferences. Currently, I am a member of Norwegian Academy of Technical Science (NTVA), the co-chair of Sweden-Norway joint section of IEEE Reliability Society, the editor-in-chief for International Journal of Reliability and Safety, the leader of NTNU NATECH (natural-hazard triggered technical accident) thematic research group, and the director of International RAMS (reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety) master program at NTNU.

I am a chemical engineering professor with background in colloid chemistry, processes , rheology and petroleum. I am interested in teaching and development of courses and engineering and natural Sciences programs. I spend a lot of time mentoring students, especially with respect to contingencies. Saber Mohammadi

I am a postdoctoral researcher at SINTEF/NTNU’s LowEmission Centre, working on low-emission offshore operations, process engineering, and model–experiment integration. Previously, I led the Flow Assurance group at RIPI, managing a 30+ multidisciplinary team and ~10 industry-funded projects.
I design and commission multiphase/HPHT test loops, run experimental campaigns, and validate/scale models (HYSYS, OLGA, PVTsim, OPM with Python/MATLAB). My PhD (AUT) produced an award-winning thesis; I’ve authored 50+ papers and hold two patents. I mentor MSc/PhD candidates and help with research design, publishing, proposal writing, and lab-to-field translation. Internationally experienced, fluent in English (learning Norwegian), I value inclusive, cross-border collaboration.

Ali Elashery

I am a metallurgist with a PhD and postdoctoral experience in physical metallurgy of lightweight alloys. My research focuses on aluminum alloys, microstructural evolution, alloy design, thermomechanical processing, and failure analysis, using OM, SEM-EDS, and XRD. I have extensive experience in dislocation-particle interactions, precipitation strengthening, and fatigue behavior. I have supervised students, collaborated with industry, and contributed to international research projects. I am passionate about mentoring early-career researchers and fostering cross-border scientific collaboration.
