Participants of the ENHANCE GREAT Certificate Training Programme (Basic Track) are expected to:

1) Reach or have sufficient level of English that ensures active participation in the training (at least B1*);

Local offers, Language Tandems, any other language training is encouraged, but non-mandatory. Level of English is self- declared by the Participant during registration to the Programme (language certificates are not required).

2) Participate in at least 3 joint online sessions organized by ENHANCE for this track. In justified cases, asynchronous participation is allowed (online sessions are recorded and available on a dedicated e-course).  

Minimum workload (contact hours): 4.5h of online training

3) Prepare for job shadowing, i.e., participate in a bilateral call with their cross-border pair (selected according to job description and function) 

Minimum workload (contact hours): 0.5h of online discussion

4) Participate in a job shadowing opportunity or a staff week that embeds a job shadowing component at one of the ENHANCE universities, or host a guest from ENHANCE members (job shadowing at home).

Minimum workload required (contact hours): 18h of onsite experience, including 6h of job shadowing.

Overall minimum workload: 40h, including: 
  • 5h of online activities offered by ENHANCE and related to internationalisation (contact hours)

  • 18h of international on-site experience at one of the ENHANCE member universities (including the home university), with at least 6h of job shadowing (contact hours)

  • 17h of self-study (estimated time needed for the preparation and reflection)

Participants: Employees of the ENHANCE Alliance and associated partners that already speak English at B1 or higher level.

Fill out the following online form to enroll at this programme and provide us the data about your current and past job experience and areas of your interest. Based on this data, we will find you a job shadowing partner at another ENHANCE University. Estimated time needed to fill out the form ~1h (+ time for self-reflection). 

Participation in 3 joint online sessions:

  1. What is ENHANCE? Introduction and getting to know each other: February 25, 10:00-11:30

  2. Intercultural competence session 1 (experience-centered): March 4, 10:00-11:30

  3. Intercultural competence session 2 (theory-centered): April 22, 12:00-13:30

Online sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the e-course.

Preparation for job shadowing: 30 min video call with your cross-border programme partner,
March 10 -
April 22

Once we know all participants, we will match them in pairs based on their experience and interests. Job shadowing partners will receive a description of their colleague’s experience and expectations. A 30-min video call will be scheduled to allow the partners to meeteach other before the in-person networking.

In-person networking and job shadowing: Staff week at Gdańsk Tech, Poland,
6-8 May

3 days of intensive but relaxing group and individual activities, including intercultural training, well-being, and job shadowing activities. Thanks to NAWA funds, participation in the Staff week is free of charge. Financial suport for travel and accommodation can be provided by your home university or by Gdańsk Tech (within the frame of the NAWA project „ENHANCE PG”).
