The Americium International Career Development program is a part of the implementation of IDUB tasks in the scope of increasing the quality level of the university's scientific activity under Action II.1. (Activities for the development of cooperation with scientific institutions of high international reputation). The aim of the Program is to increase the scientific competences of Gdańsk Tech employees, especially young scientists, as a result of their long-term internships in leading foreign research centers. The trip should result in establishing research cooperation between the research group, which includes the outgoing person.
For whom?
For research or research and teaching employees of the Gdansk Tech with a minimum of a doctoral degree employed at the university as their primary place of work.
What you stand to gain?
As a part of the Program, it is possible to finance long-term costs (from 4 to 12 months) of internships for Gdańsk Tech scientists in foreign research centers of high international reputation.
The funding of the internship costs is flat-rate and includes:
• PLN 12 000 per month of stay in an OECD country of a trainee or PLN 8 000 per month of stay in a country outside OECD;
• PLN 2 000 per month of the Intern's spouse's stay, if he/she does not work at the Intern’s place of the internship;
• PLN 1 000 per month of stay of each child accompanying the Intern
• PLN 7 000 of a mobility allowance.
Realization
At the stage of implementation of the awarded project in the application for the trip - MojaPG in the item PURPOSE OF THE TRIP, the employee should write: trip within the IDUB Program (Americium) - regardless of whether it is already at the stage of applying for an advance, or it is the settlement of the trip without an advance. Advances for the trip are applied for and paid in the currency of the issued decision - that is, in PLN.

The call for applications under the Americium Program is continuous.
