Summer School “GEOTECH” in RWTH Aachen | Gdańsk University of Technology

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting around 30 students from 8 ENHANCE Alliance universities for an intensive and collaborative Summer School on “Physics-Informed Machine Learning for Geotechnical Engineering.”

The program brought together participants with different academic backgrounds from all over Europe. 🌍

From interactive lectures to challenging group work sessions, participants explored how data-driven and physics-based approaches can advance geotechnical engineering. Particularly valued was the quality of the teaching material and the interdisciplinary working constellations, which led to new perspectives and ways of thinking. ✨

It wasn’t all about academics. The Social Program - from a City & Campus Tour to a Pub Crawl and a lively BBQ with Karaoke - provided space for having fun, lasting memories and new friendships across cultures. 🤗
