A Look Back at the ENHANCE Summer at Gdańsk University of Technology | Gdańsk University of Technology

During this year’s ENHANCE Summer Schools at Gdańsk University of Technology, there were plenty of opportunities for participants from partner universities to meet and integrate with our academic community. The events for international guests were co-organised by Gdańsk Tech students representing the Student Government (SSPG).

On the initiative of SSPG, several joint activities were prepared – campus tours, a trip to the beach and to a Gdańsk food hall, as well as two guided walks through the Old Town. One of them was particularly special, as the guide was a Gdańsk Tech student who enthusiastically shared his knowledge of the city’s history. Despite the weather not always being favourable, a considerable number of participants joined the activities.

Students of Gdańsk University of Technology also supported the guests outside of the scheduled programme – answering questions, assisting with everyday matters, and helping everyone make the most of their time in Gdańsk. These joint efforts showed how important the role of students is in creating an open and welcoming atmosphere during ENHANCE international initiatives.
