From Ideas to Impact: The Power of Diversity Seed Fund

This is what our students do for creating real change on their campus (and beyond)

We are thrilled to announce that the project "Equality Days" led by the Gdańsk Tech student Maurycy Słończewski-Mahlke received the Pro Juvenes award in the "Barrier-free Studies" category. The competition has a national impact. It is an initiative organised by the Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland. Congratulations to Maurycy and to the entire team for this great achievement! You see him with the award below in the picture.

Ayub Otieno leading the project ENHANCE Connect finished his project with a final event in Warsaw. His project was supported by Diversity Seed Fund. Explore here more about the final event. Below, you see him presenting the Innovative Learning Campus to international students.

Poéticas desviadas: Artistas contemporáneos LGBTIQ+ en la UPV (Deviant poetics: LGBTIQ+ contemporary artists within UPV in english).

Next Friday, November 7, at 12:30 p.m., in the UPV Editorial Exhibition Space, this small exhibition will be opening. It brings together different artists from the LGBTIQ+ community within the Universitat Politècnica de València's sphere.

This exhibition represents an effort to give visibility to LGBTIQ+ creators who are active within the academic environment of our university, with the aim of promoting diversity and inclusion within the institution. We use contemporary artistic creation as a means of personal and identity expression, bringing these realities closer to a wider audience.

Poéticas desviadas is a curatorial project initiated by students, aiming to give visibility to the university’s own LGTBIQA+ community through contemporary artistic expression. It's been possible thanks to the funding provided by the ENHANCE Alliance under the ENHANCE Diversity Seed Fund call, and the support from the Universitat Politècnica de València.

Below, you can see the poster of the event

Recently, we have interviewed Ayub (Warsaw) and Gonzalo (Valencia) about their involvement in ENHANCE for a better campus. They both received funding from ENHANCE. Explore the trailer of the interview here. You can watch the full interview here.
