ENHANCE Diversity Seed Fund at Gdańsk Tech | Gdańsk University of Technology

We are pleased to announce the results of this year’s edition of the ENHANCE Diversity Seed Fund, an initiative that turns passion into real actions supporting inclusivity and diversity within the academic environment.

The programme provides funding for student projects from 10 leading technical universities in Europe that together form the ENHANCE alliance. The selection is made by an international panel evaluating the motivation, objectives, and the real impact of the projects on the community.

This year our university can boast an exceptional success – as many as two projects from Gdańsk University of Technology have received funding!

Budowa jest Kobietą – Kobra Student Research Club

The first awarded project is a conference dedicated to women in the technical and engineering sectors. The third edition of the event, 11 March 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the Hydromechanics Building.

The programme covers topics ranging from education and design to management and law, creating a coherent career development path. It will be complemented by a psychological workshop titled “Self-confidence in the technical sector”, focusing on assertiveness and communication. Participation is free of charge and does not require registration.

Equality Days – Blisko Student Organization

The second laureate is the Equality Days project, whose second edition will take place on 27, 28 and 30 April on our campus. This initiative focuses on building awareness of inclusivity, neurodiversity, and internationalisation.

The programme will include discussion panels, a field game, and activities focused on breaking stereotypes. The project has an international character and is co-organised with a partner university from the ENHANCE alliance – RWTH Aachen University, where the second part of the event will take place. The entire academic community is warmly welcome!
