Study and Innovate with Warsaw University of Technology

Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) is one of Europe’s leading technical universities, actively engaged in international education, innovation, and sustainability-driven initiatives. As a core member of the ENHANCE Alliance, WUT offers students unique opportunities to learn in an international environment, collaborate across borders, and work on real-world challenges aligned with global priorities such as climate action, circular economy, and responsible design.

In 2026, WUT invites students from across Europe to take part in two international ENHANCE Summer Schools organised within the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme framework. Both programmes combine online learning with an on-site experience in Warsaw and award ECTS credits.


Event 1: ENHANCE Summer School – Reimagining Waste

Reimagining Waste – Ethical and Sustainable Solutions in Waste Management is an international summer school focused on modern approaches to waste management, circular economy, and environmental responsibility. Organised by Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with Chalmers University of Technology and Universitat Politècnica de València, the programme brings together students from different disciplines to co-create innovative and ethical solutions to waste-related challenges.

  • Online phase: 8 June – 3 July 2026
  • On-site in Warsaw: 6–10 July 2026
  • Project consultations: 20–31 July 2026
  • Credits: 4 ECTS
  • Application deadline: 20 April 2026

The programme is open to Bachelor’s students who have completed at least their second year of studies. Participation is free of charge under the Erasmus+ BIP scheme.

Event 2: ENHANCE Summer School – Climate by Design

Climate by Design – Can global climate goals succeed without local creativity? focuses on climate change, sustainable development, and innovative design as tools for achieving global climate goals at a local level. The programme is organised by Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with RWTH Aachen University and Universitat Politècnica de València.

  • Online classes: 1–3 September 2026
  • In-person classes in Warsaw: 7–11 September 2026
  • Online project consultations: 14–18 September 2026
  • Credits: 4 ECTS
  • Application deadline: 8 May 2026

The programme is open to Bachelor’s (from second year), Master’s, and PhD students interested in climate challenges, sustainability, and creative problem-solving. Participation is free of charge within the Erasmus+ BIP framework.
