Gdańsk Tech Ranked Highest Among Polish Universities in THE Impact Rankings

“This marks another consecutive year of significant advancement for the university — in 2024, we were ranked in the 401–600 range, and two years ago, in the 601–800 range. We are pleased that the university’s efforts in the field of sustainable development are being recognized and highly rated in the world’s most prestigious university rankings. These increasingly strong results are, among other things, the outcome of benchmarking and the implementation of best practices based on data from analyses conducted by the Center for Strategic Analysis,” emphasized Prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz, Vice-Rector for Research.
In this year’s edition, Gdańsk Tech submitted data for 12 out of the 17 SDGs, reflecting the university’s broad commitment to sustainable development initiatives. Gdańsk Tech ranked among the top universities globally (101–200 range) in three key SDG categories:
- Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – ranked 101–200 globally, 1st in Poland
- Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production – ranked 101–200 globally, 1st in Poland
- Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals – ranked 101–200 globally, 1st in Poland
