The Actinium Supporting Most Talented Candidates program is an element of the implementation of the tasks of the IDUB program in the field of improving the quality of education for students and doctoral students, in particular in the fields and disciplines related to priority research areas (PRA) of the university, Action III.3. Improving the admission system for studies in order to attract the best candidates. The aim of the program is to increase the effectiveness of Gdańsk Tech in competing for the most talented candidates for studies in the fields related to the subjects of PRA Centers. The way to achieve the goal are scholarships based on the achievements from the previous stage of education for particularly gifted students starting full-time 1st or 2nd cycle studies at Gdańsk Tech.

What you stand to gain?

  • The scholarship in the ACTINIUM program amounts to PLN 1 000 per month and is granted for a period of 10 months.
  • The competition is addressed to graduate students enrolled in the first year of studies at Gdansk University of Technology from the summer semester of the academic year 2024/2025.

Who can apply?

Funds under the Program are awarded through a competition. The competition is addressed to graduate students enrolled in the 1st year and 2nd degree of studies at the Gdansk University of Technology from the summer semester of the academic year 2024/2025.

How and when to apply for a grant?

The call for applications in 2024 is closed

  • Applications with documentation must be submitted electronically through the MojaPG system in the Grants Module
  • All achievements must be confirmed.
  • For students who completed their undergraduate studies at Gdansk University of Technology, it is not necessary to document the grade of the thesis, the grade of the diploma exam and the weighted average of the grades.

Compulsory student internships, which were completed in accordance with the study program, should not be listed among the achievements.
