Research Internship within the ENHANCE Initiative

Dear Students,
We invite you to participate in the Research Internship Program, organized within the ENHANCE initiative, which supports the mobility of Master's and Doctoral students between partner universities. The program offers the opportunity for three-month outgoing and incoming research stays in the following scope:
 
  • 4 Master's students and 4 PhD students may come for a research internship at Gdańsk University of Technology,
  • 4 Master's students and 4 PhD students from Gdańsk University of Technology may complete a research internship at a partner university abroad.
The program aims to enable the implementation of research projects in collaboration with a partner university. Projects can be prepared in one of two ways:
 
  • Joint development and approval of the project - in cooperation with mentors from both Gdańsk University of Technology and the partner university,
  • Preparation of a project plan with a mentor from Gdańsk University of Technology - which will then be reviewed and approved by a mentor from the partner university.

📅 Key Dates

  • Application period: 1 August – 30 September 2025

  • Ranking publication: 31 October 2025

  • Appeal period: 7 days from ranking announcement

  • Internship period: 1 December 2025 – 31 August 2026

Due to the limited number of places, a selection process will be conducted.

Participation in the program is a unique opportunity to gain international research experience, support academic development, and establish valuable academic connections.
Participants in the program are bound by the "Terms and Conditions" document, which outlines roles, schedules, expectations, and organizational and financial arrangements. This document will be provided during the onboarding process and discussed at an information meeting.
