STEM Webinars – Female STEM Stories Unfold | First Session: 9 February 2026
Webinar series organized by RWTH Aachen as part of the ENHANCE University Alliance. The initiative has a training-focused character and concentrates on gender and diversity in STEM.
The webinars are led by STEM Ambassadors – female students and researchers who share their experiences in fields such as engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, bioinformatics, and sustainable design. The sessions are practical in nature and highlight real career pathways as well as the application of academic knowledge in future-oriented professions.

How Math & Physics Make the World Cleaner
During the webinar, participants will meet female role models in mathematics and physics who apply strong quantitative skills in areas such as data science, bioinformatics, and environmental physics. The speakers will share their personal stories of building confidence and choosing a demanding scientific career path that leads to tangible, positive impact on society and the environment.

Upcoming webinars in the series
Future sessions will focus on interdisciplinary city design combining biology and engineering, as well as on coding and digital technologies for a more sustainable world. STEM Ambassadors will demonstrate how they integrate diverse scientific disciplines to shape infrastructure, technologies, and systems of the future.
