Dreaming of an international experience but can’t go abroad for a whole
semester? The ENHANCE (Innovating Learning Campus) program offers short-term
courses, workshops, and summer schools at the best technical universities in Europe!

Here’s how to organize your trip and secure Erasmus+ funding in a few simple steps.

1. Find your offer

Visit https://ilc.enhanceuniversity.eu/opportunities and check the current
catalog of courses. Remember to indicate that you belong to Gdańsk Tech.

2. Check the criteria

Before applying, make sure that:

  • The offer is intended for students of your degree level.
  • The registration deadline is still valid.
  • The trip lasts between 5 and 30 days.
  • Important: Short-term trips for Bachelor’s and Master’s students must include a virtual component (blended mobility).

3. Consult and apply

If the deadline is approaching (less than 2 weeks): Register immediately via the ENHANCE portal.
If you have more time: Contact your Faculty Erasmus+ Coordinator to discuss your chances of going and matching the course to your field of study (this increases your chances!).

4. Wait for acceptance

After registering, wait for a message from the host university. Once you receive official acceptance confirmation:

  1. Inform the International Relations Office (CWM) and your faculty coordinator.
  2. Arrange with your lecturers at GUT how to make up for any missed content.

5. Formalities and funding

This is the time to complete documents, including the Learning Agreement. After approval of the formalities, you will be invited to sign the financial agreement at the International Cooperation Center.

6. Pack your suitcase and hit the road!

💡 Erasmus+ funding criteria

To apply for a scholarship, you must meet the following conditions:

  • Completed at least (check your faculty’s exact requirements) the 1st year of Bachelor’s studies or 1st semester of Master’s studies.
  • No outstanding ECTS credits.
  • Unused mobility quota (max. 12 months of exchange per degree level).

Note: Trips to Zurich (Switzerland) are not funded by the Erasmus+ program.

💰 Funding amounts

Below are the current rates for subsistence and travel costs
according to the Rector’s regulations.

  • Subsistence costs (daily scholarship)
The rate depends on the length of stay. Students in more difficult financial situations may receive an additional one-time amount.
    • Stay 5-14 days: 79 EUR / day
    • Stay 15-30 days: 56 EUR / day
    • Additional support for students with fewer opportunities: 100-150 EUR per trip.

  • Travel costs
The flat rate depends on the distance between Gdańsk and the host university. We promote sustainability – by choosing eco-friendly transport (train, bus, carpooling), you will receive a higher “Green travel” rate!
