– Participation in the "Gdynia Business Plan" competition naturally offers attractive prizes for the winners. But there are many more benefits for every participant. All contestants gain knowledge essential not only at the beginning of their business journey. They also have the opportunity to expand their network of valuable contacts. Especially now, when we operate in a volatile and unpredictable market environment, it is worth benefiting from the knowledge of experienced business practitioners who are "within reach" for competition participants. We encourage you to take part. Act! Submit your idea and develop your business in Gdynia – said Katarzyna Gruszecka-Spychała, Deputy Mayor of Gdynia.
Authors of ideas properly submitted to the competition will be invited to participate in trainings and workshops conducted by experienced trainers and business practitioners. Among other things, they will learn how to prepare a good business plan, how to conduct market research, how to construct a budget, where and how to find clients and communicate with them, how to promote their products and services. They will also become familiar with legal issues that need to be considered when running their own company. They will also learn how to present their business ideas attractively.
– Submitting an idea to the competition is the first step. The second is participation in workshops and trainings. The third – the most important for participants – is submitting the finished business plan. They will have until March 31, 2021, to do this. Authors of the most interesting and best-prepared business plans will be invited to the final to present their ideas before the jury. We will find out who wins the 19th edition of the competition during the Final Gala planned for June – said Beata Grzegorska from the Gdynia Centre for Entrepreneurship Support.
