Gdańsk Tech once again classified in Round University Rankings
The Round University Ranking (RUR) is a global university ranking that measures the performance of the world's leading universities according to 20 indicators in 4 key areas: teaching, research, international diversity and financial stability. The ranking is published by the RUR Ranking Agency based in Moscow, Russia.
All data is provided by Clarivate Analytics, which collects it through a Global Institutional Profiles Project (GIPP) survey. This survey is carried out annually in the spring and currently covers more than 850 higher education institutions worldwide.
869 universities have been classified in the latest edition of the ranking, including 6 universities from Poland.
Gdańsk University of Technology has recorded an increase in the world classification taking 634 place, 5th place among Polish universities (in last year's edition of the ranking we were classified in 642 place). The highest in the ranking was the Jagiellonian University (358), followed closely by the University of Warsaw (363).
The victory in the RUR 2021 ranking belongs to universities from the USA - Harvard University, California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and Stanford University took the podium.
