The International Relations Office invites you to a meeting with Tomasz Lipski from the Baltic Sea Culture Centre, where we will discuss the universal language of art that connects people from different cultures (Thursday, February 6th, 11:00 AM). This will be a particularly musical event.
  • Thursday, February 6th
  • 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • conference room in the Hydromechanics building no. 11 (above the Welcome Office)
  • complete the registration form to participate in the meeting
  • the meeting will be conducted in Polish with translation into English.

“The influx of people means that Polish society is increasingly becoming part of a multicultural Europe. Numerous controversies surrounding the topic of immigration show that we are still not always ready to coexist harmoniously with representatives of other cultures. This creates a higher demand for projects that bring different cultures and traditions closer than ever before.” [from the speaker]

One such project is the "Window to the World" Culture Festival, organized by the Baltic Sea Culture Centre. Tomasz Lipski, a musician, poet, and cultural animator, will talk about how important this event is on the cultural map of Gdańsk.

The meeting is part of the project "Internationalization of Gdańsk University of Technology: development of WELCOME SERVICES / promotion of WELCOME CULTURE" no. BNP/WTP/2023/1/00169/U/00001, funded by the National Agency for Academic Exchange under the Welcome to Poland program.
