Patryk Rosiński – a journalist with many years of experience and a specialist in communication – has joined the team of the Promotion and Press Release Office at Gdańsk University of Technology. In recent years, he has worked to shape the public image of municipal institutions in Gdańsk. He will now be responsible for promoting the university, liaising with journalists, and preparing informational materials.

Patryk Rosiński is a Gdańsk native through and through. He grew up in a falowiec (wavy block of flats) in the Przymorze district and graduated from the Krzysztof Kolberger Secondary School No. IX. He then moved to Toruń to pursue higher education. He holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and Social Communication from Nicolaus Copernicus University.

He began his professional career in radio. During his studies, he completed internships at Radio ESKA Trójmiasto, which quickly led to a regular position as a weekend reporter, followed by roles as a news journalist and co-host of live programs.

Over time, he transitioned to the “other side” of the microphone. He first served as an inspector in the Press Office of the Mayor of Gdańsk, where he was responsible for media relations, organizing press conferences, and preparing materials for journalists. He then became the press spokesperson for the Gdańsk Roads and Greenery Authority, where he led the press team, managed crisis communication, oversaw the institution’s social media presence, and provided strategic image-related counsel.

Outside of work, he is a fan of video games, quality television series, and podcasts. He also has experience as a master of ceremonies and feels at ease with a microphone not only in a professional setting. He is a player for PSPal Trójmiasto, a team that plays palant—a traditional Polish team sport, a precursor to baseball, and an excellent activity for outdoor recreation and team integration.
