The newly launched programmes at Gdańsk Tech gathered significant interest during this recruitment cycle. The Cosmetic Technologies programme attracted 2.65 applicants per available place.
Cosmetic Technologies is an interdisciplinary programme designed for individuals seeking to combine chemical and process engineering with knowledge of cosmetic technologies and contemporary trends in the cosmetics industry. The curriculum includes an extensive number of laboratory classes, enabling students to translate theory into practice—ranging from developing a cream formulation, through safety analysis of raw materials, to usability testing of the final product. During lab classes, students will produce items such as creams, shampoos, emulsions, masks, and colour cosmetics, and will subsequently assess their physicochemical properties.
Graduates of this programme will be equipped to seek employment in R&D, quality assurance, and production departments within cosmetics companies, as well as in quality control and product certification laboratories, research institutes, and product safety assessment units.
