Results of the First Edition of the Fahrenheit Synergy Programme
After the deliberations of the Evaluation Committee and the decision of His Magnificence the Rectors, the research teams selected to receive funding in the first edition of the Fahrenheit Synergy Programme have been chosen.
After the deliberations of the Evaluation Committee and the decision of His Magnificence the Rectors, the research teams selected to receive funding in the first edition of the Fahrenheit Synergy Programme have been chosen.
Within the program, research groups from the Medical University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk Tech, and the University of Gdańsk were able to apply for funding for a project worth up to PLN 750,000. Out of 41 submissions, four were selected, with the Commission members emphasizing that the substantive level was balanced and very high.
Projects awarded funding in the first edition of the Fahrenheit Synergy Programme:
- Spin-glass models in the analysis of platelet RNA: a new approach to early cancer diagnosis
- Multidisciplinary analysis of the effects of chronic wound treatment with hyperbaric oxygen therapy using a system evaluating wound parameters along with determining the psychosocial needs of the studied group
- Inhibitors of key non-structural proteins of the tick-borne encephalitis virus as potential antiviral drugs
- Interdisciplinary model of personalized behavioral and communication interventions in the prevention of civilizational diseases and supporting healthy aging
