Seven high school graduates from various parts of Poland have become laureates of the latest edition of the PG Talent Scholarship competition. Young people from Pomerania, Podlasie, Silesia, and West Pomerania, who can already boast significant scientific, competition, project, and social achievements at the high school level, will join the students of Gdańsk Tech.
Gdańsk Tech has once again awarded the Talent Scholarship — a distinction aimed at young, talented individuals who stand out for their passion for learning, high achievements, and activity beyond the standard educational path.
The Gdańsk Tech Talent Scholarship is not just financial support. Laureates will receive a Gdańsk Tech index and a place in any chosen field of study, PLN 2,000 per month throughout the duration of their studies, the guidance of a scientific mentor, the opportunity to benefit from individualized study organization, as well as a guaranteed place in a student dormitory.
– The Gdańsk Tech Talent Scholarship is an investment in young people who already show today that they can think boldly, creatively, and responsibly. This year’s edition was very popular — more than ninety candidates applied for the scholarship. Among the awardees are individuals interested in, among others, nuclear energy, automation and robotics, chemistry, architecture, economic analytics, and future technologies. These are areas crucial from the perspective of the development of science, the economy, and society. I am particularly pleased that the laureates chose Gdańsk Tech as the place for further education and developing their passions — says Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, Rector of Gdańsk Tech.
