Call for applications in the 5th edition of the Uranium program (5.11-16.12.24)
The purpose of the Program is to support the cooperation of the University with secondary schools, mainly from outside the Tri-City (i.e., the school must not be located in the municipality of Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia) identifying the most talented graduates as future students of Gdansk University of Technology, especially in majors related to the research topics of the PRA Centers.
The Evaluation Committee will evaluate applications according to the following criteria:
- Justification of the need to establish or expand the scope of cooperation between Gdansk University of Technology and a high school [max. 20 points].
- A plan of action on the part of the Gdansk University of Technology that meets the objectives of the program [max. 40 points].
- Cost estimate [max. 20 pts].
- Location of secondary school [max. 10 pts].
- School from the list of preferred high schools [max. 10 pts.].
Also in the 5th edition, the list of preferred schools is in effect, which includes schools in which high school graduates achieved the highest baccalaureate results in science subjects, and is also a list of schools with which there has not yet been cooperation in previous editions of the URANIUM program. That's why it's worth reaching for 10 additional points for starting cooperation with a school on the bonus list.
The Evaluation Committee will evaluate the location of each high school, with only the provinces located farthest from the Pomeranian Voivodeship eligible for a maximum of 10 points.

Budget and conditions for project implementation
- The amount of the grant in the URANIUM program is a maximum of PLN 30,000, and the implementation period is no longer than 12 months.
- Grant applications can be submitted by employees of the Gdansk University of Technology.
What categories of costs can be planned in the project?
Costs may include, among others:
- remuneration for the grant manager, paid in the form of a basic salary supplement;
- costs for PG representatives to implement projects in cooperation with the high school;
How to apply?
- The call for applications will run from November 5, 2024 to December 16, 2024 at 11:59 pm.
- The application must be submitted only electronically through the MojaPG system in the Grants Module.
- The application must be accompanied by a declaration of willingness to cooperate, on the part of the high school principal, in the form of a letter of intent.
