Programme objective
The programme is intended for Polish institutions that run doctoral schools, have experience in admitting or educating international students, and coordinate or participate in international exchange programmes for doctoral students. Its main objective is to provide systemic support for the internationalisation of doctoral education.Funding institution: Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA)

Project Objective
- improving the quality of doctoral education and doctoral students’ research by drawing on international experience;
- increasing international mobility of doctoral students;
- developing initiatives that support internationalisation at home;
- supporting long-term cooperation with other doctoral schools abroad;
- attracting international doctoral students and supervisors from abroad;
- providing scholarships for doctoral students conducting doctoral research in international collaboration.
Project activities
- scholarships for outstanding Polish and international PhD students conducting research in collaboration with institutions in other European countries, leading to joint doctorates or publications;
- mobility grants for PhD students undertaking three-month research internships abroad;
- hosting visiting professors from abroad to teach courses in English to PhD students;
- participation of the Doctoral School staff in international training;
- organising networking meetings for PhD students;
- preparing funding applications and carrying out joint research projects as part of doctoral education;
- developing a joint doctoral curriculum and teaching materials for doctoral students;
- participation of Doctoral School staff in study visits abroad and promotional meetings related to the project.
