About the mobilities

Mobilities under Task 2 are implemented as short-term staff study visits at partner universities of the ENHANCE Alliance, of which Gdańsk University of Technology is a member. Their main objectives are:

  • a) facilitate international cooperation and expand professional networks of staff,
  • b) allow the exchange of experience and good practices,
  • c) identify common institutional and operational challenges,
  • d) enrich career paths of university employees through their professional and personal development in international academic environment,
  • e) build lasting relationships between the academic community of Gdańsk University of Technology and other members of the ENHANCE Alliance.

Non-Polish full members of the ENHANCE Alliance include:

  • a) Chalmers University of Technology – Chalmers (Sweden),
  • b) Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich, ETH Zurich (Switzerland),
  • c) Norwegian University of Science and Technology – NTNU (Norway),
  • d) Politecnico di Milano – PoliMi (Italy),
  • e) Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen – RWTH Aachen (Germany),
  • f) Technische Universität Berlin, TU Berlin (Germany),
  • g) Technische Universiteit Delft, TU Delft (the Netherlands),
  • h) Universitat Politècnica de València – UPV (Spain).

Mobility takes place either from Gdańsk Tech to non-Polish universities listed above, and to the associated partner university – École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) in France, or from these non-Polish universities to Gdańsk Tech.

Who can apply?

Eligible participants of this Programme include all employees of Gdańsk University of Technology employed under an employment contract, regardless of their organisational unit, as well as employees of the institutions listed above.

Duration of the mobility

The stay at the host institution lasts from 2 to 5 days. In justified cases, additional funding may be granted for up to 2 travel days.possibility to receive funding for up to 2 additional travel days.

Mobility may take place between 01 April 2026 and 31 May 2027.

Recruitment rules

Recruitment for Task 2 – „Staff Study Visits” is conducted on a competitive basis and on a continuous basis until funds allocated for this task are exhausted.

To apply, candidates must:

  • submit an application via the form provided by the ENHANCE Office,
  • attach the approval of the direct superior (applicable to Gdańsk Tech employees only),
  • provide an invitation or confirmation of acceptance from the host institution.
Funding

Mobilities are funded on a reimbursement basis, covering actual costs incurred by the participant, including:

  • travel costs,
  • accommodation,
  • daily allowances.

Detailed financial rules are specified in the regulations of Staff Study Visits (ENHANCE PG, Task 2) Programme.
