This is the last call to obtain funding for establishing a spin-off company. The application process, handled by Excento, the subsidiary of Gdańsk Tech, is open to academic staff, as well as PhD students, students, and alumni. The chances of receiving funding are best for innovative projects with a business model that ensures profitable growth.
As part of the Excento Program, support is offered in the process of establishing a spin-off company, i.e., verification of the state of the art of the developed technology, training in entrepreneurship and business operations, technology valuation, market and marketing research, market analysis for the submitted solution, legal service costs in the company establishment process, substantive support in setting up the company, as well as promotion of the spin-off company’s offer at fairs, in the media, and on internet portals.
When making purchases and ordering services within the Innovation Incubator 4.0, procedures compliant with the Public Procurement Law apply. Each submitted project will receive the care of an Innovation Broker, who will support the project team in contacts with Gdańsk Tech experts (public procurement specialist, patent attorney, legal advisor) as well as in contacts with business partners/clients, aiming to commercialize the achieved results of the conducted pre-implementation works.
Applications to the program in the form of a completed Project Card together with the Cost Estimate should be submitted electronically to: inkubator.ctwt@pg.edu.pl, including the annotation "Innovation Incubator 4.0 – spin-off company project application" in the subject. These will be verified for formal correctness, and then a project supervisor will be assigned to the qualified applications, who will contact the project manager directly. The application submission period will last until December 2, 2022, by 10:00 AM.
