Submit your project today in the Gdańsk Tech Participatory Budget
From October 23rd, projects can be submitted for the 8th edition of the Gdańsk Tech Citizens' Budget for two weeks. This year, PLN 600,000 is available, including PLN 420,000 for employee projects and PLN 180,000 for student projects.

The project submission phase of the Gdańsk Tech Civic Budget has begun. Employees and students can submit their ideas from October 23rd to November 6th by 12:00 PM.
Ideas should be submitted using the form available on the Civic Budget website.
The process is not complicated but must meet certain formal requirements. The project initiator should obtain the support of 5 people from the university, describe the project assumptions, and estimate the cost of implementation. Proposals submitted in previous editions may be helpful. They can be found on the Gdańsk Tech Civic Budget Implementation Map.
In last year’s edition of the GT Civic Budget, the voting resulted in the selection of new multimedia systems in the Main Building auditoriums, shelters and outdoor containers for selective waste collection, purchase of SUP boards for the "Czarlina" Recreational Center, modernization of the gym at the Academic Sports Center, creation of a coworking space in the lobby of the “Hydro” building, and the arrangement of the area around the popular “Armata” student spot.
A total of PLN 600,000 was allocated, including PLN 420,000 for staff projects and PLN 180,000 for student projects. Funds can be used for various implementations, while in accordance with the campaign regulations, at least one selected idea must align with the goals defined in the Gdańsk Tech Climate Plan. According to this plan, the university will take actions related to reducing CO2 emissions, limiting waste production, using natural resources and energy, and developing green spaces and biodiversity on campus.
The project submission stage will last until November 6th. Subsequently, the proposals received will undergo verification. Those that pass successfully will participate in voting scheduled from November 27th to December 11th. The final list of projects selected for implementation will be announced on January 3, 2024.

- December 13, 2023 – announcement of the project ranking list (after 12:00 PM)
- December 20, 2023 – deadline for filing written appeals (by 12:00 PM)
- January 3, 2024 – announcement of the final list of projects to be implemented (after 12:00 PM)
