Once again, the Fahrenheit Universities will recognize initiatives undertaken by members of the FarU community. This is part of the Fahrenheit Universities Award. Projects completed in 2023 can be submitted until January 31, 2024.

The Fahrenheit University Award may be granted to innovative activities carried out individually or in teams by students, PhD candidates, or employees in the scientific, didactic, organizational, or social spheres. A financial prize of 15,000 PLN, funded by the FarU Assembly, is provided for the creators of the highest-rated project.

The competition is divided into three stages. The first is the submission of projects competing for the award.

Submissions may be made by individual faculties of the Fahrenheit University, student and PhD candidate governments of the universities associated in FarU, as well as teams of at least three people from three Fahrenheit Universities, who are employees, students, or PhD candidates of these universities. Submissions can be sent by January 31, 2024.

Then, within 30 days of the end of submissions, the competition committee will select three initiatives to compete in the final for the main prize. The initiative qualified for substantive evaluation must:

  • impact the academic communities of the three Fahrenheit Universities in the organizational, scientific, or didactic scope,
  • possess innovative value,
  • have a lasting nature and be suitable for continuation,
  • have been implemented in 2023 (from 1.1.2023 to 31.12.2023).

The authors of the selected initiatives will present their projects to the Award Chapter during the first meeting of the Assembly of the Fahrenheit University Association in 2024.

The regulations and submission form are available on the Fahrenheit University website.
