“Universities of the Future” is a new project implemented by Gdańsk Tech and 12 partner universities, together with the National Centre for Research and Development as the coordinating institution. It is aimed at students, and registrations are open until March 16.
“Universities of the Future” is a new project implemented by Gdańsk Tech and 12 partner universities, together with the National Centre for Research and Development as the coordinating institution. It is aimed at students, and registrations are open until March 16.
An alternative to the traditional education model – the Personalized Education Model (PEM) – is fundamentally based on students' own projects and dynamic collaboration with the socio-economic environment.
Students implementing their innovative projects will receive substantive and formal support from mentors at the university and in business, funding of up to PLN 20,000, as well as the opportunity to participate in micro-courses and workshops on innovation, commercialization, and project management.
What does the project offer?
- Inspirational workshops at Gdańsk Tech (3 hours) – support in idea creation
- Off-site workshop week (5 days) – for team leaders, 3 ECTS
- Project consultations (15 hours) – support in preparing the schedule, budget, and project presentation
- Individual Education Plan (IEP) – developed with a supervisor
- Opportunity to receive a scholarship of up to PLN 20,000 for project implementation
- Support from two mentors (academic and business) – up to 150 teaching hours in total
- Participation in at least one micro-course (up to three, each micro-course awards between 1 to 2 ECTS)
For project implementation, students can earn a minimum of 9 ECTS per semester (up to 18 ECTS over two semesters).
We invite first- and second-year Bachelor's degree students to submit their project ideas. Deadline for project applications: March 16, 2025 on the project page.
