The Project Management Center invites you on March 25 to a practical meeting titled "ERC: Strategy for Success." The event aims to provide key information regarding the rules of participation in the European Research Council (ERC) competitions and the process of preparing a successful grant application. ERC grant laureates will share their experiences.
The Project Management Center invites you on March 25 to a practical meeting titled "ERC: Strategy for Success." The event aims to provide key information regarding the rules of participation in the European Research Council (ERC) competitions and the process of preparing a successful grant application. ERC grant laureates will share their experiences.
The training will be conducted by Katarzyna Kubica-Oroń, an expert from the National Contact Point for EU Research Programmes.
The behind-the-scenes of preparing a winning application will also be shared by the laureates of the ERC Starting Grant 2025 competition – PhD DSc Eng. Anna Siekierka, university professor at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, and PhD Eng. Wojciech Krauze from Warsaw University of Technology. They will share their experiences related to the specifics of ERC competitions in the field of technical sciences and the challenges associated with the path from an ambitious research idea to the implementation of a project funded by the ERC.
The meeting is aimed at employees of Gdańsk Tech who are preparing to submit applications in the ERC competitions within the Horizon Europe programme, as well as those involved in the process of preparing such applications.
The meeting is organized by the Project Management Centre.
When and where?
The training will take place on March 25 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM in the conference room of the Hydromechanics building.
Registration is conducted via the application form. Participation in the training will be determined by the order of applications.
