The Educational Foundation "Perspektywy" has published the latest edition of the annual ranking of the best universities in Poland. The ranking shows the position of academic universities, technical universities, and specific fields of study, and its results are one of the tools used by candidates comparing the offerings of higher education institutions.
Stable position among the national leaders
In the latest edition of the ranking, Gdańsk Tech remains both in the top five of academic universities in Poland and on the podium among technical universities. This result confirms the stable position of the university among the national leaders.
– Maintaining a high position in the Perspektywy University Ranking is regarded by Gdańsk Tech as confirmation that the university remains among the best institutions in the country. For a technical university, stability does not mean standing still. Ranking Based on Seven Criteria
The Perspektywy 2026 Academic Universities Ranking includes public and non-public academic universities that have the right to confer doctoral degrees in at least one scientific discipline, have at least 300 full-time students, and at least two graduating classes.
The final score of a university is calculated based on indicators grouped into seven criteria:
- scientific effectiveness, 30%,
- internationalization, 15%,
- scientific potential, 13%,
- prestige, 12%,
- graduates on the labor market, 12%,
- education conditions, 10%,
- innovation, 8%.
Such a methodology allows for a multidimensional assessment of universities, encompassing the quality of research and education, the situation of graduates, relations with the socio-economic environment, and the international nature of activities.
