Prof. Edward Szczerbicki and his team have participated in annual KES conferences since 2001, when KES 2001 was held in Osaka, Japan. During this time, the team has published approximately 50 papers in KES conference proceedings, presenting research results and examples of practical applications of the concepts developed within Prof. Szczerbicki’s scientific school.
One of the key areas of this work is the concept of Decisional DNA — DDNA, which concerns the collection, representation, and use of experience by artificial systems created by humans. Since 2001, Prof. Szczerbicki and his team have developed both the theoretical foundations of this concept and its practical applications.
