Swallows of the Future is a competition that fosters creativity, supports innovation and entrepreneurship, and encourages the creation of innovative technological, business, and social solutions. During the final gala, the qualified teams presented ideas for a product, service, or solution concept related to civil defense and broadly understood security. The competition was aimed at students and PhD candidates of Gdańsk Tech, as well as secondary school students cooperating with our University. Among the final projects were teams from two schools: the Communications School Complex named after the Defenders of the Polish Post Office in Gdańsk and the Mikołaj Kopernik High School No. 1 in Gdańsk.
The projects were presented in the form of pitching, i.e. 5-minute presentations before the Jury and the audience gathered at the event.
The participants were evaluated by the Jury consisting of: Karolina Szlenk (OKE Poland), PhD Eng. Marcin Szczepański (WILiŚ Gdańsk Tech), and Marcin Zieliński (PG Biznes Hub). The gala was hosted by Zuzanna Kąkol and Maciej Pawluczuk from the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Science Club GTSE operating at Gdańsk Tech.
