Call for proposals for the 2nd Uranium Supporting Cooperation With High Schools competition

The aim of the Program is to support the cooperation of the university with secondary schools, mainly from outside the Tri-City, which select the most talented graduates as future students of Gdansk University of Technology, especially in majors related to the research topics of PRA Centers. The way to achieve the goal is grants for Gdańsk Tech employees coordinating the cooperation of the university with the selected high school.
Budget and conditions of project realization
  • The amount of the grant in the Uranium program is maximum 30 000 PLN and its realization period is not longer than 12 months.
  • Applications for the grant can be submitted by teaching or research and teaching staff of Gdansk University of Technology.
  • The regulations of the URANIUM program, the template of the grant application and the template of the grant implementation report are annexes to the PG Rector's Order No. 69/2021 of 29 November 2021.
What categories of costs can be planned in the project?

Costs may include, among others:

  • remuneration for the grant manager, paid in the form of a supplement to the basic salary, taking into account the principles of the applicable Regulations on remuneration of PG employees;
  • expenses incurred for the implementation of cooperation with a secondary school, including salaries for instructors.
How to apply?
  • The call for applications will run from December 9, 2021 to January 31, 2022 at 11:59 pm.
  • Applications must be submitted electronically to uranium@pg.edu.pl. The original application must be submitted to the Education Department.
  • The application must be accompanied by a declaration of intent to cooperate on the part of the high school principal in the form of a draft cooperation agreement or letter of intent.
