Call for applications for the Plutonium Supporting Student Research Teams program

The Plutonium Supporting Student Research Teams Program is part of the implementation of IDUB's tasks to improve the quality of education of students and doctoral students, particularly in scientific fields and disciplines related to the university's priority research areas, Measure III.4. (Activities supporting effective talent management). The purpose of the Program is to support the activities of student scientific circles, which are a natural environment for the emergence of research group leaders, organizational leaders and leaders who initiate new research areas.

Budget and conditions for project implementation 

The scientific circle may apply for a maximum total amount of 300 thousand PLN in five consecutive competitions. An application for obtaining funding in the Program may be submitted by the supervisor of the student scientific circle (The student scientific circle referred to in paragraph 2 should have been active for at least one academic year before the date of announcement of the competition in the Program).

What cost categories can be planned in the project


The project may finance the following types of direct costs:

  • conducting and disseminating scientific research within the framework of the project, such as: publication fees, costs of participation in conferences, business trips;
  • purchase of small laboratory equipment, materials necessary for the construction of models for pilot studies, perishable materials, including reagents;
  • purchase of research equipment;
  • modernization of the laboratory where research work is carried out;
  • equipment and software (exclusively for research purposes, such as specialized computer programs);
  • third-party services necessary for research.


How and when to apply for funding?

  • Applications can be submitted between 03.02.2025 and 14.03.2025 through the MojaPG website in the Grants module.
