Debate and Young Researchers Picnic. Science reaching for the stars | Gdańsk University of Technology

The 2nd Young Researchers Day at Gdańsk University of Technology is already behind us. This year, in the summer edition, we met on June 27 to talk about stars. Przemysław Mieszko Rudź introduced us to the subject of astronomy with the lecture "From Apollo to Artemis". Two scientific groups presented themselves: the Gdańsk Tech Astrophysical Science Club and the SimLE Science Club. Additionally, students from SimLE described preparations for the implementation of an experimental project taking part in the international REXUS/BEXUS program. Prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz, vice-rector for organization and development, was asked questions by the young resrearchers. After an intense substantive session, we met in the bosom of nature. Picnic participants found food for their spirit and body, and thanks to the courtesy of the Academic Sports Center, they could also take advantage of sports attractions.
