World University Rankings by Subject 2023 results | Gdańsk University of Technology

In the Business and economy category, Gdańsk Tech was ranked in the 401-500 range, which is the best result among the 16 ranked Polish universities. We achieved the best result in the Poland in the "Citations" criterion (70.8 points), the criteria "Industry income"(34.4 points) and "International outlook" (20.8 points) were also highly rated.  It is worth noting that the Gdańsk Tech is ranked in this category for the first time.

In the "Computer Science" category, Gdańsk Tech once again scored in the 601-800 range, which is the same result as Krakow University of Technology, Jagiellonian University, Silesian University of Technology and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. The highest in the country was the University of Warsaw (95th place).

In the "Engineering" category, Gdańsk Tech was ranked as 1st out of 15 universities in Poland - in the 601-800 range. This means maintaining the position earned in previous years. In this category, our University achieved the best results in the criteria "Citations" (51.6 points) and "International outlook" (29.0 points).

In the "Physical Sciences" category Gdańsk Tech was ranked in the range of 801-1000, at the same level as the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, and Silesian University of Technology. A total of 1307 universities were included in this category, including 17 from Poland. In this case, our University was ranked slightly lower than in previous years.
