Gdańsk University of Technology as the First Technical University with Two ACEEU Accreditations | Gdańsk University of Technology

Hence, Gdańsk University of Technology has become the first Polish university and the first technical university in the world to have ACEEU accreditation in both Engagement and Entrepreneurship! Accreditation work has been in progress since October 2021. The first one - the ACEEU Engaged University Accreditation - was granted in June 2023. Despite the difficulties inherent with the technical nature of the university, the institution continued to work for another year to successfully meet the ACEEU standards in the area of entrepreneurship.

- I am very happy and thank you all for your efforts in working to get the ACEEU accreditation. Knowing that we are a leader among technical universities also in the areas of entrepreneurship and engagement is encouraging and gives us the energy to continue going forward - said Prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz, Vice-Rector for Research.

The process of obtaining the ACEEU accreditations in both Entrepreneurship and Engagement was coordinated by Strategic Analysis Center.

ACEEU (Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities), founded in 2016, is an international organization specializing in acknowledging and fostering entrepreneurial and engaged potential of universities on institutional and divisional levels.
