Competition for young scientists 2023 | Gdańsk University of Technology

The 9th edition of the Competition for the Award of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk for young scientists is underway. until March 31 this year.

The award is granted equally to five winners in five fields of science (according to the Faculties of the Polish Academy of Sciences) for an original research achievement that was published in 2023.

The competition is dedicated to employees or doctoral students of a scientific institution who, in the year preceding the submission of the application, met the definition of a young scientist within the meaning of Article 360 (2) of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science.

Applications for the Award must be submitted electronically from January 15 to March 31 to gdansk@pan.pl.

The competition results will be announced on the website of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk by May 31 this year.

The amount of each prize is: PLN 4,000 PLN (gross).
