The first survey diagnosing barriers in the development of young researchers at Gdańsk Tech was conducted in July-September 2022. 42% of respondents out of 900 invited people responded to the survey.
Researchers identified problems in the areas of:
- scientific,
- organizational and administrative,
- infrastructure and health and safety,
- ethical,
- interpersonal,
- regarding well-being and generally understood "work-life balance".
Based on the research results, the Young Researchers Team identified nearly 30 barriers occurring in the everyday work of young researchers. The proposed actions - based on the analysis of identified problems - were included in the implementation plan of the HR4R Strategy for 2022-2025, introduced by the Rector's Regulation No. 74/2022 of November 18, 2022, and some are already implemented.
