5th Young Researcher Congress

5th Young Researcher Congress
We invite you to participate in the 5th Young Researcher Congress, which will take place at the University of Gdańsk on July 17–19, 2025.

The Young Science Congress is a unique opportunity for young researchers to present their research results, share their theses, and establish valuable academic connections. This is an event of exceptional international character, bringing together hundreds of young scientists, students, and doctoral candidates from Poland and abroad every year.

Last year's edition of the Congress gathered as many as 400 speakers from over 80 academic institutions. We believe that this year's edition will be even more inspiring and that attendance will break last year's record. Therefore, we are already inviting you to submit panels for the 5th Young Science Congress.

Registration form

The deadline for panel submissions is March 30, 2025, or until all available slots are filled.

As moderators, you will have the opportunity not only to lead discussions but also to shape the academic space of the Congress. Although the panel submission process has only just begun, we can assure you that the program will be as diverse as in previous editions. Sessions and discussions covering a wide range of topics—from the exact sciences to the humanities—are planned, creating an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences. There are no restrictions on the subject matter of the panels.

A few key details about the panels:

➞ A panel may be submitted provided there is an academic supervisor who verifies its substantive quality. The academic supervisor should hold at least a doctoral degree. Their role is to approve the presentations submitted to the panel based on the abstracts provided by the speakers.

➞ It is mandatory to complete the application form, which includes the panel’s title, a short description, several details about the panel, and a scanned consent form from the academic supervisor.

➞ To hold a panel, a minimum of 3 presentations approved by the academic supervisor must be submitted.

➞ The moderator/organizer will conduct the panel during the Congress and present participants with certificates.

After the Congress, participants will have the opportunity to publish their conference papers in Progress – Journal of Young Researchers, which has been published at the University of Gdańsk since 2016. The journal features contributions from a wide range of scientific disciplines and is aimed primarily at students, doctoral candidates, and young researchers.

The participation fee for the Congress is 550 PLN. A special rate of 460 PLN is available for panel organizers.
